About the SSL
All InnoHosting Reseller customers are entitled to a free SSL certificate. This SSL certificate is issued to you directly by Comodo themselves, and includes all the benefits you would receive if you purchased it directly.
Please Note: By requesting your free SSL certificate, it will void the 16 day money back guarantee. If you would like the option of using the 16 day money guarantee while you try our services, please do not continue with this step until 16 days has elapsed from the date of your order.
The following is required for us to begin processing the SSL order:
Acquiring the Certificate
Once you have met the pre-requisites, you will need to open a ticket with the Billing department. In this ticket include:
Once we receive the ticket and request, InnoHosting will then manually approve it within 1 business day (Monday to Friday). An email will be sent to you with instructions on retrieving the certificate from Comodo.
Installation of the certificate
InnoHosting will install SSL certificates for you free of charge. In fact, we recommend you allow us to install the certificate to ensure it is installed correctly first time round. To request installation of the SSL certificate, update your original ticket that includes the information for the CSR/RSA and paste in the certificate you received from Comodo. We will then install the certificate.
If you make an Error
If you make a mistake during the process, change your mind about the domain it is for or require any changes after the SSL has been issued, you will need to order an SSL certificate from http://innohosting.com/ssl.htm.
SSL's are none refundable and cannot be changed once issued.
Renewal of the Certificate
If the time comes and you require a renewal of the SSL, InnoHosting can renew it for you free of charge if it is included with your package. We won't send you any notifications when it is due for renewal, as such we advise that you note down your renewal date.
When you need your SSL renewed, update your original ticket that you created to request the SSL. Let us know you wish to renew it. We will then go ahead and re-order another 1 year certificate. Use the same information (CSR/RSA) to acquire the SSL from Comodo, and paste it into the ticket. We will then reinstall the SSL using the updated certificate.
Note: You cannot request renewal of the certificate earlier than 5 days prior to expiration.
